WHERE TO START

Okay, it's a new year, a new day.  You've made a New Year's resolution that you will finally get in shape.

BUT WHAT DO YOU DO?  WHERE DO YOU START?

A gym membership?  A commitment to GO to the gym that you've been a member of for 8 years and have only been to 12 times?

Why not start in your own home in front of your TV or DVD player moving your body for 30 minutes a day in the morning, or at noon, or at night when you get home from work -- whatever fits your schedule best?

Beachbody has tons of workout programs for anyone from kids to grandmas, from gospel-themed workouts to the sexy Brazil Butt workout, and everything in between.

In a nutshell, these workouts are FUN and they WORK!

Obviously it depends on your age and fitness level.  If  you're in excellent shape and want to get ripped, P90X is for you.  Or if you're in great shape but want to kick your conditioning up a notch, maybe Insanity is a good choice.  If you're in good shape and want to burn more fat and get toned, ChaLEAN Extreme could be what you're looking for.

What worked for me was a 3-step process, which many have followed successfully:

1.  Power 90
2.  Power 90 Master Series
3.  P90X

Power 90 is a 6-day-a-week program alternating between cardio and strength workouts.  One day you do cardio, the next day you lift weights, and 1 day of the week you rest.  All in the comfort of your own home in front of your DVD player.  The workouts range from 30-45 minutes with lots of great stretching.  The program lasts 90 days.

The Master Series workouts range from 40 to 55 minutes and are also 6 days a week.  They are a total blast, and they lay the foundation (along with Power 90) for P90X.

P90X will just blow you away.  You will get super strong and get the greatest rush from completing a grueling but SO MUCH FUN 90-day workout program.  The workouts are harder and longer, from 40-90 minutes, but so worth it - enough that I'm starting Round 2 on January 17, 2011!

BRING IT!!!!!!!!!
